Merry Christmas to all!

Bleaustone have released most of their Grit range (images below) or a direct link to the holds here, and they've got a three for two offer on fixings til the end of December (here)... We all know the friction on grit is better in the Autumn / Winter, so we suggest you have a look :D

Lookie, lookie... anyone need some new shirts... check out Klime, click the logo above :)
The Glen needs our help.

In case you're not aware as of next year one of the best bouldering locations in eastern Canada will be restricted to climbers. Niagra Glen near Toronto is a public park that has been used for years as a bouldering destination for climbers in the region.

The Niagara Parks Commision is asking Bearded J (Boulderer from Hamilton)
to survey people and find out which boulders are most important to people.
He assumes this information will be used to determine which boulders stay open and which do not.

Please visit the Halcyon Climbing Forum and list your favorite boulders
(or your favorite problems and he'll look up the boulder).

Bleaustone have a new system for counter sunk and normal bolts... we'd like to point out that Nicros have had a system like this called the "Versa Centre" for 12 years... at least Europe is catching up :DNow, their new Gritstone range is coming.... how they're 100GBP for 10 I don't know :) There aren't any images except this one
Stay tuned, maybe we'll see some more soon

Bleaustone -

"All holds do not use washers or any form of insert as this would only reduce the inherent strength of the hold."

So these new inserts are weakening your holds?
